Educational Development Corporation began its Independent Representatives Division in March, 1989.  This Division, operating as Usborne Books & More, markets the entire Usborne and Kane Miller line through a combination of direct sales, home shows, book fairs, fund raisers, grants and school and library sales.

We spent considerable time analyzing the vision for this company and what its purpose is.  Yes, we sell the very best children's books in the world, but we feel we have a higher purpose.  We feel we are part of the overall education and literacy movement in the nation, and we feel our products can make a difference in the lives of children.

 EDC Celebrates Randall White, Oklahoma's Most Admired CEO

 

Our very own CEO, Randall White, recently received The Journal Record's Oklahoma's Most Admired CEO Award.

Thursday evening Feb 17, 2011, Randall White was named Oklahoma's Most Admired CEO.  This did not come as a surprise to those who work with him.  White has led the company for twenty-five years, seeing it through many changes.  One thing that hasn't changed, however, is the rapport White has with his employees.  It is not uncommon to find him packing boxes in the warehouse during busy times, or just taking time to offer encouraging words or the ever motivating high-five.
